Lucknow, April 21: A significant administrative reshuffle took place in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, with the transfer of 10 District Magistrates (DMs). Shashank Tripathi, the DM of Barabanki, has been appointed as the new DM of Ayodhya.
According to the list released by the administration, the state government has transferred 24 IAS officers. Eshan Pratap Singh, the Chief Minister’s special secretary, is now the new DM of Barabanki. Nikhil Tikaram Fundey, the former DM of Ayodhya, has been appointed as the special secretary to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Following the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list, the transfer process in Uttar Pradesh has accelerated. The list issued on Monday indicates that Avinash Kumar, the DM of Ghazipur, has been transferred to Aligarh. Arvind Singh, the Additional Land Commissioner of the Revenue Council, is now the DM of Etah. Amit Aseri, the special secretary of the PWD, has been appointed as the DM of Banda, while Dr. Ankur Lathar, the Vice Chairman of the Bulandshahr-Khurja Development Authority, is the new DM of Farrukhabad.
Kavita Meena, the Vice Chairperson of the Muzaffarnagar Development Authority, has been appointed as the DM of Hapur. Esha Priya, the special secretary of tourism, is now the DM of Ambedkarnagar. Charchit Gaur, the ACEO of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority in Kanpur Nagar, has been assigned as the DM of Sonbhadra. Anupam Shukla, the DM of Ambedkarnagar, has been transferred to Ghazipur as the new DM.
Nikhil Tikaram Fundey, the former DM of Ayodhya, has been appointed as the Chief Minister’s special secretary. Prem Ranjan Singh, the DM of Etah, is now the Additional State Director of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and Director of the Mid-Day Meal Authority. Abhishek Pandey, the DM of Hapur, has been appointed as the Additional Land Commissioner of the Revenue Council. Sanjeev Ranjan, the DM of Aligarh, is now the special secretary of the Agriculture Department. J Reeba, the DM of Banda, has been appointed as the special secretary of Geology and Mining.
Arun Kumar, the special secretary of Geology and Mining and Additional Director of Geology and Mining, has been relieved of his duties as special secretary. Ashutosh Kumar Dwivedi, the DM of Farrukhabad, has been appointed as the special secretary of PWD, while Badri Nath Singh, the DM of Sonbhadra, has been given the responsibility of special secretary of the Higher Education Department.
Diksha Jain has been promoted from CDO Kanpur Nagar to ACEO of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority in Kanpur. Dr. Aparajita Singh Sinhasinwar has been appointed as the Vice Chairperson of the Bulandshahr-Khurja Development Authority from CDO Shahjahanpur. Pranata Aishwarya has been promoted from CDO Sitapur to Vice Chairperson of the Muzaffarnagar Development Authority. Utkarsh Dwivedi has been appointed as CDO Shahjahanpur from Joint Magistrate Sonbhadra, while Abhinav J Jain has been promoted from Joint Magistrate Mathura to CDO Kanpur Nagar. Diksha Joshi has been appointed as the Chief Development Officer of Sitapur from Joint Magistrate Meerut.
