
Raipur, August 18: The General Administration Department of Chhattisgarh has implemented a significant administrative reshuffle, assigning new responsibilities to 23 officials. The orders were issued on Tuesday. This reshuffle includes changes in several district collectors, while some officials have been given additional charges in various departments and corporations.
According to the orders, Nilesh Kumar Mahadev Kshirsagar has been temporarily appointed as the Director of Urban Administration and Development, moving from his previous role as Collector of Kanker. Ranbir Sharma has been appointed as Collector of Gariaband, Kundan Kumar as Collector of Kanker, and Amrit Vikas Topno as Collector of Mungeli.
In the same vein, Jaishree Jain has been assigned as Collector of Shakti, Tulika Prajapati as Collector of Kabirdham, and Tanuja Salam as Collector of Mohla-Manpur-ambagarh Chowki. Bhagwan Singh Uike, formerly Collector of Gariaband, has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the General Administration Department.
Gopal Verma has been designated as Joint Secretary in the Forest and Climate Change Department. Heena Animesh Netam has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of the Antyodaya Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation.
As part of the administrative reshuffle, Sumit Kumar has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department. Gajendra Singh Thakur has been given additional charge as Director of Social Welfare.
Somil Ranjan Chaubey has been entrusted with the responsibility of Managing Director of the Tourism Board. The order also mentions the process to declare the Managing Director position as non-categorized under the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2016, effective from the date he assumes charge.
Virendra Bahadur Panchbhai has been appointed as Additional Collector of Bilaspur. Vivek Acharya’s services in the Tourism Board have been terminated, and he has been sent back to his parent department, the Forest Department, with immediate effect.
Additionally, Rimijiyus Ekka, who was given the additional charge of Mission Director for the Jal Jeevan Mission, will have this charge concluded upon assuming the new orders. Similarly, Bhoskar Vilas Sandipan, who had the additional charge of Managing Director of the Civil Supplies Corporation, will see this responsibility end after the new assignments.
