This figure includes both domestic sales and exports.

According to the company, domestic sales of utility vehicles (SUVs) in June stood at 60,393 units, reflecting a 28% year-on-year growth. Overall utility vehicle sales, including exports, totaled 61,504 units.

Nalinikant Gollagunta, CEO of M&M’s automotive division, stated that the company sold 60,393 SUVs and 26,076 light commercial vehicles (LCVs) under 3.5 tons capacity in June, achieving strong annual growth rates of 28% and 35%, respectively.

The performance in the LCV segment was also robust, with sales of LCVs under 2 tons capacity reaching 3,508 units, a 36% increase. Meanwhile, LCVs between 2 to 3.5 tons saw sales of 22,568 units, up 35% from last year.

In the three-wheeler segment, M&M experienced a significant surge, selling 13,820 units in June 2026, compared to 8,454 units in the same month last year, marking a 63% increase.

M&M’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) also performed strongly, with 58,177 tractors sold in the domestic market in June 2026, a 12% increase from the previous year. Total tractor sales for June reached 59,935 units, up from 53,392 units last year, with 1,758 tractors exported during the month.

Vijay Nakra, President of M&M’s Farm Equipment Business, noted that it is too early to fully assess the potential impact of El Niño. However, government measures such as continuing fertilizer subsidies and targeted local assistance for farmers are expected to significantly mitigate risks and limit the impact on the upcoming Kharif season.
