Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress Suspends Officials for Missing Vote Theft Rally

The Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress has suspended several officials for not attending the Vote Theft Rally in Delhi, citing disciplinary violations.

Bhopal, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : In a significant move, the Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress has suspended several officials for failing to attend the ‘Vote Theft Rally’ held on November 1 at Delhi’s Ramleela Maidan. The party cited violations of organizational discipline and disregard for directives from national leadership as the reasons for this action.

According to information from the Congress office, officials were explicitly instructed to participate in the rally. However, their absence triggered disciplinary measures against them. The suspension order, issued on November 3, 2026, indicates that the sanctions will remain in effect until further notice.

This action underscores the party’s commitment to maintaining organizational discipline and adhering to national directives. The rally in Delhi was a major event organized by the India Alliance, featuring leaders and activists from various coalition parties, including Congress, the Samajwadi Party, the Trinamool Congress, and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.

During the rally, opposition leaders criticized the central government and the Election Commission, emphasizing the need to protect democracy, voting rights, and the integrity of the electoral process. Congress leader Salman Khurshid stated that the Prime Minister is chosen by the people of India, and this movement would extend beyond just a single rally.

Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad described the rally as a defense of democracy and the voting rights granted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress leaders raised concerns about the Election Commission and the central government. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha MP Mahua Majhi asserted that the India Alliance is making every democratic effort to ensure that the people’s voices are heard.

The suspension of these officials for their absence is viewed as a step to reinforce discipline within the Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress.
