Mumbai, March 15: Maharashtra’s Home Minister Yogesh Kadam clarified on Saturday regarding the supply of domestic cooking gas (LPG) and the recent decision by the central government concerning commercial gas. He stated that while the government has issued orders to halt gas supply for commercial use, there will be no shortage for domestic consumers.
In an interview with a news agency, Kadam said, “The central government’s decision includes orders to stop the supply of gas for all commercial uses across the country. However, for those who need gas for home use, the supply will continue smoothly. We have sufficient gas available, and there is no need for anyone to panic. The supply for domestic use will remain uninterrupted.”
The minister urged consumers not to waste gas. He remarked, “Currently, there is a war in the Middle East, which means we should use gas carefully. We must avoid wastage and be mindful of our consumption.” He assured that despite global tensions, India’s position remains strong, and the supply has not been affected.
Kadam praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy, stating that it has bolstered India’s international image. He noted, “Since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, he has elevated India’s standing globally. The respect for our country on the international stage has increased. PM Modi has fostered good relations with every country, which is why, despite the war, we are receiving good supplies from Iran. Just yesterday, we saw a large oil shipment arrive in India.”
He further added that the respect India has gained on the global stage during PM Modi’s tenure directly benefits the common citizen today. He concluded, “The relationships PM Modi has built internationally are benefiting our country now. In my view, no other Prime Minister has worked as diligently as he has.”
