New Delhi, August 10: The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) held its National Executive meeting today under the leadership of Union Minister and party president Chirag Paswan. The meeting, attended by state presidents, legislators, and senior officials from across the country, aims to strengthen the organization and outline upcoming programs. A detailed discussion is expected regarding preparations for the assembly elections in several states, including Uttar Pradesh.
Sanjay Paswan, a minister in the Bihar government and LJP (R) leader, stated, “Today, I am attending the National Executive meeting. This is the first meeting since I became a legislator. All state presidents and legislators from across the country have gathered. Important decisions will be made today. Whatever directives our leader Chirag Paswan provides, we will implement them on the ground.”
He emphasized that the main agenda of the meeting is to fortify the organization. “In the coming time, elections are scheduled in six states. Discussions regarding this are likely to take place. Our leader Chirag Paswan has called us to register our presence and formulate future strategies,” he added.
Sanjay Paswan also responded to the student assembly march in Jharkhand. He expressed support for the students’ protests, stating, “Students are the future of our country. Everything depends on them. We stand with the students and fully support their demands. Solutions can only be found through dialogue. The government should engage in discussions. There should be no violent movements.”
The minister remarked that while the right to protest is fundamental in a democracy, issues can only be resolved through peaceful dialogue. The party stands with the students and supports their legitimate demands.
