
Beijing, August 11: Liu Haisheng, Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, led a delegation to Cuba from August 8 to 10. During this visit, he participated in the inaugural Fidel International Dialogue.
While in Cuba, Liu met with key figures including Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of Cuba, as well as members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba. They engaged in meaningful discussions with Morales, Secretary of the Organization Department, and Losada, Minister of International Relations.
Both parties expressed their commitment to jointly implement the significant agreements reached by the top leaders of their respective parties and countries. They emphasized the importance of maintaining traditional friendship, deepening inter-party exchanges, enhancing strategic communication and cooperation, and working together to advance socialist goals in their nations. Additionally, they pledged to contribute more to building a shared future community between China and Cuba.
