Mumbai, April 5: LG Electronics has unveiled its 2026 QNED Evo Mini LED TV lineup, emphasizing larger screens this year. The standout model is a massive 115-inch TV designed for those seeking a cinematic experience at home.
This new range is powered by LG’s α8 AI Processor Gen 3, which enhances picture and sound quality. The AI technology improves sharpness, brightness, and detail. LG is also incorporating OLED-style light control techniques into QNED, optimizing light distribution across the screen.
On the display front, LG employs Dynamic QNED Color Pro to enhance color accuracy, particularly in HDR content. The panels are certified by Intertek for 100 percent color volume, ensuring consistent colors even on large screens. Another significant feature is Precision Dimming Ultra, which manages thousands of dimming zones to enhance contrast, making dark scenes richer while keeping bright areas clear.
AI-driven enhancements are plentiful. AI Super Upscaling sharpens lower-resolution content for 4K displays. AI Picture Pro enhances faces and key subjects, while Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro adjusts brightness and contrast on a frame-by-frame basis. For audio, AI Sound Pro creates a virtual 11.1.2 channel output using the TV’s built-in speakers.
The TVs operate on webOS 26, which emphasizes sports. The Sports Portal aggregates live matches, scores, and schedules in one location. Sports Alert provides updates for selected teams, and an AI Concierge card displays match progress and predictions on screen.
Gaming features are also a highlight of this update. The TVs support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) up to 165Hz, along with AMD FreeSync Premium and Auto Low Latency Mode. On select models, Motion Booster increases refresh rates to 330Hz, minimizing blur in fast-paced games. The LG Gaming Portal offers access to cloud gaming services and web-based titles.
Additionally, LG is introducing personalization features such as Voice ID for user profiles and AI Concierge for tailored content suggestions. Integration with Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot allows users to search or ask questions directly on the TV. LG Shield ensures security with built-in encryption.
The lineup includes models like the 115-inch QNED90, 100-inch QNED85, and other variants such as QNED82, QNED8M, QNED80, and QNED70. These TVs will first launch in Korea, the United States, and Europe, with additional markets expected to follow later this year. Pricing details for these models are anticipated to be announced soon.
