Notable tourist attractions include the Malik Mohammad Jayasi Dargah, Nandmahar Dham, and Gadha Mafi.

Analyzing the political dynamics, in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Congress candidate Kishori Lal Sharma defeated BJP’s Smriti Irani, garnering 539,228 votes compared to BJP’s 372,032. In the 2022 assembly elections, Samajwadi Party’s Maharaji Prajapati won the Amethi seat against BJP’s Sanjay Singh, receiving 88,217 votes to BJP’s 70,121.
