International Recognition of Indias Renewable Energy Revolution at Summit

Indias renewable energy capabilities received international praise at the Renewable Energy Summit, highlighting innovative technologies and investment opportunities.

New Delhi, November 2 (Daily Kiran) : The Renewable Energy Summit held at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on November 2, 2026, showcased India’s growing capabilities in clean energy. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address, international guests shared their insights on India’s renewable energy potential.

Dutch entrepreneur Peter Hack and Guyana’s High Commissioner Dharmkumar Siraj discussed the country’s advancements in clean energy manufacturing, investment opportunities, and the ambitious goal of achieving 500 gigawatts of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.

Hack praised India’s clean energy initiatives, noting that his company is developing a new technology that does not rely on solar or wind power. This innovation can generate electricity continuously, significantly reducing the need for expensive batteries. He explained that the technology harnesses energy from the interaction between fresh and saltwater. Given its potential in India, Hack is preparing for a large pilot project, aligning with the discussions and goals set for India’s clean energy future. He emphasized that this could provide a sustainable energy alternative that complements existing sources.

He remarked on the difference in execution between discussions in various countries and India’s proactive approach. “Progress is being made in India, making it an excellent place for work and investment,” he stated. Hack expressed optimism about fostering strong and beneficial cooperation in the clean energy sector between India and the Netherlands.

High Commissioner Siraj also commended India’s capabilities in renewable energy. He highlighted the country’s vast size, large population, and significant advancements in the sector over the past 15 years as indicators of its potential to lead globally in renewable energy. He affirmed that India’s political will to advance in this direction positions it as a frontrunner.

Nitin Sangale, CEO of Kosol Energy, expressed confidence in India’s achievements in solar energy, attributing success to Prime Minister Modi‘s visionary policies. He noted that initiatives like the PM Solar Home Program and large projects under the PM KUSUM scheme have significantly propelled the sector.
