Bhopal, September 1: In Madhya Pradesh, a significant event is set for Tuesday as students who score 75% or more in the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education will receive funds for purchasing laptops.
According to official information, approximately 122,000 students from the state who achieved 75% or higher in their first attempt in Class 12 will benefit from this initiative. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will transfer ₹25,000 each to these deserving students in a ceremony at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center in the capital.
This initiative by the state government aims to provide essential digital resources for higher education and connect talented students with modern technology. With laptops, students will enhance their learning through online studies, digital materials, e-learning, and other technological resources.
To encourage students and integrate them with digital technology, the School Education Department runs a Talent Incentive Scheme. Under this scheme, every eligible student who scores 75% or more in their first attempt in Class 12 is granted ₹25,000 for laptop purchases.
This year, approximately 122,000 students will benefit from this scheme, with a total transfer of over ₹304.98 crore to their accounts. Each student will receive ₹25,000, significantly aiding their educational journey.
