Leaders Hail Budget 2026 as Visionary Step Towards Developed India

New Delhi: Reactions from the ruling NDA alliance and BJP leaders have poured in following the announcement of the Union Budget 2026. The budget has been widely praised as visionary, historic, and aimed at uplifting every section of Indian society.

Union Minister Chirag Paswan described the budget as a visionary plan that lays a strong foundation for building a developed India by 2047. He also highlighted Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s achievement of presenting the budget for the ninth consecutive time under the same Prime Minister’s leadership.

Chirag Paswan said, “This budget is special because the Finance Minister has presented it nine times continuously, which is notable as all have been under the same Prime Minister’s guidance.”

LJP (Ram Vilas) MP Shambhavi Chaudhary called the budget historic and far-sighted. She mentioned that it reflects the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. According to her, the budget focuses on all sections of society while prioritising the youth.

She added that special emphasis has been given to the establishment of institutions for skill development and employment generation, which will provide better opportunities for young people to progress.

BJP MP Dinesh Sharma described the budget as encouraging for youth, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs. He pointed out that key sectors such as education, health, startups, tourism, transport, and exports have been given strong support, which will accelerate the country’s economic growth.

BJP MP Shashank Mani Tripathi highlighted the economic outlook presented in the budget. He stated, “Our economy is performing well, with a GDP estimate of 7.4 percent and inflation controlled at 1.7 percent. The fiscal deficit has been limited to 4.4 percent.” He described the budget as a significant step promoting holistic development and moving India towards becoming a developed nation.

Another BJP MP, Kamaljeet Sahrawat, said, “Today’s budget has been prepared keeping India’s vision for 2047 in mind. Every aspect that empowers the economy and the people has been carefully included.”

Overall, the budget has been welcomed as a comprehensive and forward-looking blueprint supporting India’s growth trajectory across multiple sectors and demographics.
