New Delhi, August 15: On the occasion of Parsi New Year ‘Navroz’, President, Vice President, and Prime Minister, along with several other leaders, have extended their greetings.
President Droupadi Murmu shared her wishes on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “On the auspicious occasion of Parsi New Year ‘Navroz’, I extend heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all fellow citizens in India and abroad, especially to our Parsi brothers and sisters.”
In her message, the President emphasized, “Navroz symbolizes new beginnings and fresh hopes. This festival of joy and harmony reminds us of the values of living together and serving humanity. The Parsi community has made significant contributions to India’s development through their entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropy. I am confident that this sacred festival will inspire all citizens to work together towards building an inclusive and developed India. May this festival bring joy, peace, and prosperity to everyone.”
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan also took to social media, saying, “On the auspicious occasion of Parsi New Year ‘Navroz’, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all my Parsi brothers and sisters. May this new year bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to every family and inspire us to strengthen the bonds of unity, harmony, and brotherhood in our country. May the eternal values of faith, compassion, and service enrich our shared heritage and lead us towards a bright future. Navroz Mubarak!”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his congratulations, stating, “Best wishes on the occasion of Parsi New Year. The remarkable contributions of the Parsi community in various fields have enriched our country in countless ways. May the coming year be filled with peace, joy, prosperity, and good health for all. Navroz Mubarak!”
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar posted on ‘X’, “Wishing everyone a happy Parsi New Year. May this new year bring peace, prosperity, good health, and new beginnings. Navroz Mubarak!”
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also shared his wishes on social media, saying, “Heartfelt greetings to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Parsi New Year ‘Navroz’.
