New Delhi, September 22 (Daily Kiran) : On September 22, leaders across India expressed their warm wishes in celebration of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti, honoring the legacy of this revered figure known for his contributions to public welfare, service, and good governance.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla took to social media platform X to convey his greetings. He wrote, “On the occasion of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti, I extend my best wishes to all. Maharaja Agrasen symbolizes the glorious tradition of Indian society, where the concept of Rajdharma emphasizes public welfare, justice, equality, and respect for every section of society.”
Birla further emphasized the message of cooperation and mutual trust that Maharaja Agrasen embodied, stating that his vision is encapsulated in the principle of ‘Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay’ (for the welfare and happiness of all). He noted that the Agarwal community, as devoted followers of Maharaja Agrasen, continues to work for public welfare across the nation.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini also shared his thoughts on X, stating, “On the occasion of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti, I offer my respectful homage and heartfelt wishes to all citizens. The Agarwal community has always contributed significantly to service and dedication, embodying Maharaja Agrasen’s ideals. Let us strengthen our resolve to serve the public and build a developed Haryana by embracing his principles.”
BJP leader Sanjay Bhatia paid tribute by writing, “On the occasion of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti, I respectfully bow to the messenger of equality, harmony, and justice.”
Suman Saini, Vice Chairperson of the Haryana State Child Welfare Council, expressed her wishes on social media, stating, “Warm greetings on Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti. His ideals of service, equality, and welfare for every section of society remain inspirational for us all. He promoted cooperation and self-reliance through initiatives like ‘one brick, one rupee,’ which serve as a strong foundation for social unity and collective progress.”
BJP leader Mahendra Bhatt also shared his congratulations on X, stating, “Heartfelt wishes on the anniversary of Lok Nayak, the Karma Yogi Maharaja Agrasen, who advocated for social welfare and upliftment of the poor.”
In Chhattisgarh, Minister Ramvichar Netram honored Maharaja Agrasen, writing on social media, “I pay my respects to Maharaja Agrasen on his Jayanti and extend heartfelt wishes to all citizens on this occasion.”
