
Mumbai, March 21: Actor and politician Krishna Kumar recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, accompanied by his family. He expressed his happiness about spending time with the Prime Minister on social media, sharing his gratitude.
Kumar uploaded several pictures from the meeting, one of which shows the Prime Minister affectionately playing with the youngest member of Kumar’s family.
On his official X handle, he wrote, “It is a sacred bond… Meeting India’s beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his family personally is a privilege. World leaders also respect him, and we had the opportunity to spend time together.”
He prayed for the Prime Minister’s long life and good health, adding, “I pray that God grants this hardworking leader of India longevity and health. Jai Hind.”
Krishna’s acting career began when he worked as a television news presenter on Doordarshan. He was seen as the son of Nedumudi Venu in a series produced for DD Malayalam.
He later appeared in the television show ‘Stri,’ which aired from 1998 to 2000.
Making his film debut, Krishna acted in the Malayalam film ‘Kashmiram,’ released in 1994.
After establishing himself in the Malayalam film industry, he expanded his career to Tamil cinema, featuring in films like ‘Billa II’ and ‘Mugamoodi.’
In February 2021, he decided to enter politics and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was the party’s candidate for the Thiruvananthapuram constituency in the 2021 Kerala Assembly elections.
Subsequently, he was elected as a member of the BJP’s National Council from Kerala.
