Kremlin Welcomes Zelensky for Talks, Claims Putin Never Rejected Dialogue
Kremlin official Yuri Ushakov invites Ukraines Zelensky to Moscow for talks, asserting Putin has always been open to dialogue.

Moscow, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is welcome to come to Moscow if he genuinely seeks dialogue. Ushakov emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin has never refused to engage in talks with Zelensky.
In an interview with Pavel Zarubin from the Russian news agency TASS, Ushakov reiterated that Putin would answer a call from Zelensky if he were to reach out. “He will definitely talk. Putin has never denied the possibility of dialogue,” Ushakov said.
He also mentioned that if Zelensky wishes to speak face-to-face with the Russian president, he is invited to Moscow. According to Ushakov, Zelensky has been sending messages through various channels, and if he truly wants to negotiate, a visit to Moscow would be appropriate.
Meanwhile, President Zelensky reported another Russian attack targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. He accused Russia of deliberately striking energy facilities in Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, and Khmelnytskyi on Saturday night. Zelensky noted that significant assaults on other critical infrastructure continue unabated.
The Kyiv Post reported that President Zelensky plans to discuss with international partners the urgent acquisition of 10 to 30 air defense missiles from their reserves. During a press briefing in Istanbul on October 31, he spoke about a strategy to “change the course,” aiming to address a severe shortage of weapons before winter, as the production of missiles under the U.S. procurement program faces delays of several years.
