Keralas Tharoor Claims Public Fatigue with LDF Government Ahead of Elections

Malappuram, April 3: Ahead of the Kerala Assembly elections, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor asserted on Friday in Malappuram that the public is exhausted with the LDF government and is seeking change.

Tharoor stated, “The issues at the grassroots level clearly indicate that people are tired of the LDF government. They want to see change, and we are working towards that change. I believe the public mood is clearly in favor of the UDF.”

He further emphasized that the Congress and its UDF coalition are striving to meet the expectations of the people, and this will reflect in the upcoming elections.

When questioned about the availability of gas cylinders, Tharoor remarked, “I cannot comment much on this as I am currently busy with the campaign. However, you should ask the public if they are getting gas or gas cylinders easily. What is convenient for the people is what matters to us.”

Regarding the removal of Aam Aadmi Party member Raghav Chadha from the position of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, Tharoor stated that it is an internal matter of another party, and he prefers not to comment on it.

It is noteworthy that Raghav Chadha has been replaced by Ashok Mittal as the Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha.

The Kerala Assembly elections are scheduled to take place in a single phase on April 9. The Election Commission announced the election schedule on March 15. According to the schedule, voting will occur on April 9, with the counting of votes set for May 4. As the elections approach, all political parties have intensified their campaigning efforts.
