Kangana Ranaut Criticizes Mamata Banerjee During Election Rally in Kandi

Kandi, April 19: Kangana Ranaut, the Member of Parliament from Mandi, participated in an election rally in Kandi, West Bengal, on Sunday. During the event, she launched a strong attack on the Mamata Banerjee government and the opposition. Ranaut expressed her anger over the lack of progress on the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill.

During the rally, Kangana did not hold back her criticism of the opposition. She stated, “Mamata’s mindset is anti-women. She promotes her friends and those who share her mentality, but this is a different issue. However, she has stabbed women across the country in the back. Women and daughters nationwide are disheartened. Especially in Bengal, she has turned the situation for daughters into a tragedy.”

She highlighted the alarming situation in Bengal, saying, “Every day, there are rapes. Every day, there is oppression. Mamata has announced that no one should go out after 8 PM because the administration cannot ensure your safety. Today, the Prime Minister issued a stern warning to all infiltrators and TMC goons. If you want to surrender, do so at the nearest police station before April 29.”

The actress warned, “After May 4, justice will be served, and no one will be spared here. Those who have wronged innocent people will not be let go.”

West Bengal is set to hold elections in two phases, with the first phase on April 23 and the second on April 29. The results will be announced on May 4.

Previously, Kangana had expressed her disappointment over the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill not being passed in the assembly. She remarked that there could not be a more tragic day for the entire women’s community. She accused the opposition of crossing all limits, stating that their mindset has always been anti-women, and the failure to pass the bill is a vivid example of this.
