
Chandigarh, May 18: The National Health Mission (NHM) Chandigarh has announced a recruitment notification for five Medical Officer positions on a contractual basis. This opportunity is aimed at professionals in the medical field.
Among the five Medical Officer roles, there is one position for an Emergency Medical Officer, two for Medical Officers in Maternal and Child Health (MCH), one for a Medical Officer in the State Tuberculosis Cell (NTCP), and one for a General Duty Medical Officer under PMABHIM.
Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹72,072. The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 60 years.
To be eligible for the interview, candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized university or institution, along with a mandatory one-year rotating internship. Additionally, candidates should be registered with the State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India in New Delhi.
Furthermore, candidates must have completed a house job (six months) or possess at least six months of post-qualification work experience. Preference will be given to those with experience in obstetrics and gynecology or pediatrics in a recognized hospital.
The walk-in interview will take place on May 25, starting at 9:30 AM at the ‘Mission Director Office, National Health Mission, 4th Floor, Administrative Block, Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh.’
Candidates attending the interview are advised to arrive on time and bring original documents along with photocopies, as registration will occur between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM before the interview.
