Raipur, July 23: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has stated that the government is open to discussions regarding the NEET paper leak issue. He emphasized that the opposition should not shy away from engaging in parliamentary discussions on this matter. The opposition is encouraged to present their concerns openly.
Protests by the Cockroach Public Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar continued on Thursday. Meanwhile, the central government assured its readiness for dialogue concerning the NEET paper leak. However, demonstrations led by the Congress party persist in NDA-ruled states.
On July 20, during a parliamentary march at Jantar Mantar, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, along with other lawmakers, staged a sit-in outside the Prime Minister’s residence in response to police action against students.
Following this, clashes erupted between Congress and BJP workers in Patna, Bihar, resulting in several injuries. In light of student interests, the central government has proposed a path for dialogue.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai remarked that the Congress and opposition appear anxious, lacking substantial issues to raise. He reiterated that with the government ready for discussions, the opposition should not evade participation. The parliament serves as the ideal platform for such debates, and the opposition should voice all their concerns there.
Supporting PM Modi’s stance, CM Sai highlighted that safeguarding the dreams of the youth and building a bright future are among the government’s top priorities. The decision to establish fast-track courts for ensuring fairness in competitive examinations demonstrates the government’s unwavering commitment to youth interests. This measure is crucial for delivering swift justice and imposing strict penalties on those jeopardizing the future of young individuals through serious offenses like paper leaks.
Addressing the state’s farmers, the CM stated that maintaining the trust of the food producers is a significant responsibility. The government has implemented effective systems for the timely and adequate supply of fertilizers to farmers during the Kharif season. Our government is dedicated to ensuring the convenience, prosperity, and improved farming practices for farmers.
