
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 today, December 1, 2025. Candidates who had applied for JEE Mains 2026 and wish to make corrections in their application forms can now do so.
The correction window will remain open from today until December 2, 2025, at 11:50 PM. Students can make changes by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main Session 1 examination is scheduled to be conducted between January 21 and 30, 2026.
However, candidates should note that no changes will be allowed in marks and eligibility state code-related details. NTA has permitted candidates to change their exam city, but the examination centre will be determined based on permanent or current address and seat availability. This year, a record 14.50 lakh students have applied for JEE Main, with approximately 60,000 students from Bihar alone submitting their applications.
Candidates can make corrections in their name, mother’s or father’s name, date of birth, gender, category, and sub-category. Additionally, corrections can be made in Class 10 and 12 academic information, eligibility state code, examination medium, paper option, and other related details.
If signatures have been uploaded incorrectly, those can also be corrected. However, certain information cannot be modified. Candidates will not be able to change their mobile number, email ID, current and permanent address, emergency contact details, and previously uploaded photographs.
How to make corrections in JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Application Form:
1. First, candidates need to visit the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in
2. Click on the JEE Mains 2026 January Session Application Correction link given on the homepage
3. Login using your application number and password
4. Make the necessary corrections in your application form
5. Pay the correction fee
6. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference
JEE Mains 2026 will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
NTA will conduct JEE Mains 2026 in two sessions – January and April. The JEE Mains 2026 January examination is tentatively scheduled to be held between January 21 and 30, 2026.
