CM Mohan Yadav Addresses Madhya Pradesh from Ujjain AIR Station on His Birthday

Mumbai, March 25: On his 61st birthday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav delivered a message from the newly established All India Radio (AIR) station in Ujjain.

In his address, the CM reaffirmed the commitment of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government to make the upcoming Kumbh Mela in 2028 a grand and world-class event.

Expressing his joy in connecting with the people of his home district through the AIR center in the sacred city of Mahakaleshwar, Yadav later had his message broadcasted to 17 other centers across the state.

It is noteworthy that the official inauguration of the All India Radio station in Ujjain took place on November 26, 2025.

Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh has reached a point where cultural heritage and modern development progress hand in hand. He emphasized that the state government is resolutely working to showcase the richness of Sanatan culture on a global platform by making the 2028 Kumbh a world-class event.

He mentioned, “The government is investing thousands of crores in projects to maintain the cleanliness of the Shipra River, ensure its continuous flow, develop riverbanks, and address water scarcity through major river-linking projects like Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal.”

The CM also announced that 2026 will be celebrated as the ‘Farmer Welfare Year’ with the aim of enhancing farmers’ income through expanded irrigation and agricultural mechanization.

Additionally, he noted that to preserve tribal culture in the state, ‘Bhagoria’ has been granted the status of a state festival and folk celebration.

Reiterating the government’s zero-tolerance policy against Naxalism, he stated that there is no place for disorder in Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted ‘Project Cheetah,’ indicating that the state is emerging as a leader in wildlife conservation.

Concluding his address, he remarked that the journey towards a developed and prosperous Madhya Pradesh is a collective effort, strengthened by the support of his cabinet colleagues and the trust of the public.
