Mumbai: The makers of the film ‘Border 2’, starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, have released the re-created audio version of the song ‘Jate Hue Lamhon’, following the success of ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’. This new version retains the original track’s emotions, feelings, and sweetness, while presenting it with an entirely fresh energy.
The song ‘Jate Hue Lamhon’ is sung by vocalist Vishal Mishra. Sharing a video on social media, Vishal described the song as very special and close to his heart. He explained that the track beautifully expresses love, memories, and the deep emotions of farewell, which resonate strongly with listeners. According to him, this song is much more than just a melody.
On his Instagram account, Vishal Mishra posted a heartfelt video where he is seen humming the tune of ‘Jate Hue Lamhon’. Alongside the video, he wrote, “‘Jate Hue Lamhon’ is not just a song but a beautiful memory of love, pain, and separation that connects with everyone’s heart. It is a precious memory for all of us.”
He further dedicated the song to legendary singer Roop Kumar Rathod and the original creators. Vishal also expressed his gratitude to the listeners, saying, “I dedicate this to all of you for whom I sing! Love you.”
The song originally featured in the 1997 classic film ‘Border’ and has been re-created for the new film. In this updated version, Vishal Mishra lends his melodious voice, while the soulful voice of the original singer Roop Kumar Rathod is also included. The music direction for the re-creation has been handled by Mithoon, who previously impressed audiences with his work on memorable tracks like ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’.
‘Border 2’ features an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Diljit Dosanjh, along with Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana in important roles. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. It is scheduled to release in cinemas on 23 January.
