
Jaipur, April 16: Women in Jaipur have expressed their enthusiasm for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill. They believe that under Modi’s leadership, women will receive 33% reservation in politics, ensuring that half the population gains their rightful place and enhances their participation in the nation’s development.
Kirti Rathore, the National President of the Karni Sena Women’s Wing, stated that granting 33% reservation to women in politics is unprecedented in Indian history. She emphasized that Modi is turning this vision into reality, which will inspire women to take on leadership roles. “If women can manage households, they can certainly manage the country,” she remarked. This initiative will empower young women to enter politics and contribute to policy-making.
Soumya Gurjar highlighted that Prime Minister Modi is actively promoting women’s advancement. He recognizes that women excel in savings and skills, making them vital contributors to a developed India.
Dr. Anupama Soni noted that the Women’s Reservation Bill is a testament to Modi’s understanding that women’s confidence will strengthen the nation. “The vision of a developed India is incomplete without women,” she asserted. For 70 years, this need has been felt, yet no party addressed it. Now, under Modi’s leadership, women are set to gain representation in Parliament, amplifying their voices. The central government has provided women with a new direction, and it is now time for a transformation.
Another woman remarked that women will now represent other women in Parliament, marking a significant step for their future. “Previously, discussions were merely talk, but the Modi government believes in action,” she stated. This initiative is a remarkable step towards women’s empowerment, as they are now standing shoulder to shoulder with men across all sectors and receiving the respect they deserve.
