Amaravati, September 5 (Daily Kiran) : Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the leader of the YSR Congress Party and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has leveled serious accusations against the current Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu. On Saturday, he claimed that Naidu is attempting to censor inquiries regarding the District Selection Committee (DSC) 2025 recruitment scandal and other failures of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-led government.
Jagan alleged that Naidu is blocking social media accounts and deleting posts that raise questions about the scandal. He has called for an independent investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the alleged examination irregularities and demanded the resignation of the state’s Education Minister, Nara Lokesh.
In a post on social media, Jagan stated that new evidence and facts about the DSC 2025 scandal are emerging daily from various parts of the state, revealing serious irregularities. He criticized the TDP coalition government for refusing to agree to a CBI investigation, choosing instead to silence voices that raise these concerns.
Jagan also accused the TDP government of restricting posts and accounts of opposition parties, media outlets, social activists, and individuals who speak out against the DSC recruitment scandal on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. He claimed that Meta has cited legal requirements as the reason for these restrictions.
Furthermore, Jagan pointed out that the TDP government targets anyone questioning issues of corruption, failures, and the violation of promises made in electoral manifestos. He emphasized that silencing dissenting voices is not governance but censorship. He asserted that no government has the right to stifle the opposition, media, activists, or citizens simply because their questions are politically inconvenient.
