ISRO-URSC Recruitment 2026: Applications Open for 17 Junior Research Fellow Positions

Bengaluru, June 12: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for 17 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions at the U.R. Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) in Bengaluru.

The online application process for these JRF positions commenced on June 12, with the last date for submission set for July 11. Candidates interested in applying for the JRF roles can register on the official ISRO-URSC portal before the deadline.

Applicants must possess a postgraduate degree such as M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc. in fields like Microelectronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Power Electronics, Digital Electronics, Signal Processing, VLSI, Embedded Systems, Engineering Physics, Applied Optics, or equivalent disciplines. Additionally, candidates should meet other specified eligibility criteria and skill requirements.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 28 years, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government norms.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on preliminary screening, academic performance, and other criteria, followed by interviews. Selected candidates will receive a stipend ranging from ₹37,000 to ₹42,000 per month, along with additional benefits and allowances.

Candidates should note that interview call letters will be sent exclusively via email to shortlisted applicants.
