New Delhi, February 23: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day official visit to Israel on February 25. During this trip, discussions will focus on defense, economic partnerships, and other significant issues between the two nations.

The Israeli embassy in India has released a video clip highlighting the importance of this visit, expressing eagerness for PM Modi‘s arrival. “From Namaste to Shalom, this partnership is stronger than ever,” the embassy stated.

The clip emphasized the shared vision of both countries. It noted that a new chapter in India-Israel relations is about to begin, built on a foundation of trust. This partnership is based on a mutual understanding of the challenges both nations face.

The discussions will cover critical areas, including in-depth talks on defense. PM Modi will engage in conversations about enhancing security through technology in light of evolving challenges. Additionally, there will be a focus on economic collaboration, with plans to advance towards a Free Trade Agreement.

He highlighted the friendship between himself and PM Modi, noting their frequent phone conversations and meetings.

During the visit on February 25-26, PM Modi is scheduled to address the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial with Prime Minister Netanyahu, and participate in an innovation event focused on high-tech collaboration in Jerusalem.
