Irans President Responds to Trumps Claims of Apology Amid Ongoing Conflict

Tehran, March 8: The conflict between the United States-Israel and Iran has now surpassed a week. President Donald Trump claims that Iran has apologized to its neighbors in West Asia following U.S. attacks. However, media reports suggest a different reality.

Iranian President Masoud Pajeshkian made it clear that Iran stands firmly against those who attack it and will respond with strength. According to Iranian state media, the president issued this statement after visiting citizens hospitalized due to the conflict.

Trump stated that under pressure, Iran sought forgiveness from its neighbors. In response, Pajeshkian asserted that the enemy has misinterpreted these statements, attempting to sow discord among neighboring countries. He noted that the enemy viewed this as a suspension of attacks on Gulf nations, while the assaults have not ceased.

He reiterated that Iran desires good relations with its friendly neighboring countries. Iran is compelled to respond to attacks from other nations, but this does not imply any dispute with them.

Iran will stand strong against those who attack it and will respond with full force. Despite various challenges, Iran will unite against the enemy without regard for any political party or faction. We will not allow them to occupy even an inch of our land.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran will not back down and will retaliate against any location from which it is attacked. Security chief Ali Larijani remarked that the targets declared by Americans and Israelis are not genuine. Their true aim is to dismantle Iran as a nation, and therefore, Iran will not compromise on its right to self-defense.

According to The Washington Post, a report by the U.S. National Intelligence Council indicates that a large-scale attack led by the U.S. would not succeed in toppling the Iranian government. Citing sources, the report raises doubts about the Trump administration’s claim that the war could end within four to six weeks.
