India’s Democracy Stronger Than France or Albania, Says MP Santosh Pandey
MP Santosh Pandey asserts Indias democracy is robust, urging Congress to participate in meetings and dismissing foreign-funded dissent.

Kavadha, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : MP Santosh Pandey from Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, criticized the Congress party for boycotting meetings, emphasizing the importance of participation. He supported RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s comments regarding recent riots in France and Albania, asserting that India is not like those nations. “Our democracy is very strong, and under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, any foreign-funded elements dreaming of riots should abandon their illusions,” he stated.
Pandey expressed frustration over Congress’s repeated absences from meetings, urging them to engage in discussions when called. “The Indian National Congress has long disregarded multiple meetings. When a meeting is called, attendance should be mandatory,” he added.
Regarding the unrest in France and Albania, he reiterated that India is not comparable to those countries, nor to Sri Lanka or Bangladesh. “Here, democracy is robust, and our governance and security are beyond reproach,” he noted. He emphasized that the economy is progressing, and those who receive foreign funding to stir dissent should reconsider their positions.
On the recent free trade agreement between India and New Zealand, Pandey highlighted that zero percent duty would significantly enhance trade and benefit both nations.
In a message for Vijayadashami, Pandey remarked that Lord Ram symbolizes the triumph of virtue over vice. He conveyed his best wishes to his constituents, emphasizing that character is paramount, regardless of one’s wealth or power. “I wish everyone a joyful Vijayadashami,” he stated.
