
Frankfurt, September 20 (Daily Kiran) : Indian missions across Europe organized the ‘Developed India Run 2026′ on September 20, 2026, as part of the ongoing Seva Pakwada celebrations from September 17 to October 2. The event took place at the headquarters of the German Football Association in Frankfurt.
The Indian Consulate in Frankfurt announced on social media that the run was a vibrant celebration of India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation. Consul General Suchita Kishore welcomed participants and encouraged them to commit to efforts aimed at transforming India into a developed country by 2047.
The run commenced with a pledge to contribute to the creation of a developed India, while also promoting India’s rich traditions, culture, and heritage. A brief session on injury-free running tips and warm-up practices was led by human performance experts.
In Zurich, the spirit of fitness and community came alive as the consulate collaborated with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, to host the event. Members of the Indian diaspora, students, and friends of India participated enthusiastically, making it a lively celebration of active living and community engagement.
The event in Zurich began with the singing of “Vande Mataram,” uniting participants in a shared sense of pride and community. This program showcased the energy and enthusiasm of the Indian community in Switzerland.
In Scotland, the Indian Consulate organized a run in Glasgow, bringing the Indian community together. The Consul General remarked that the ‘Developed India Run – Community Run for the Nation’s Service’ was successfully held at Rookin Glen Park, fostering a spirited celebration of fitness, unity, and nation-building among community members and friends of India.
