Berlin, September 20 (Daily Kiran) : Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Delhi Metro International Limited (DMIL), is set to make its global debut at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin. This event will allow DMIL to present its mobility expertise and experience to an international audience.
Anuj Dayal, Executive Director of Corporate Communications at DMRC, highlighted that InnoTrans, the world’s largest trade fair focused on rail transport, takes place every two years in Germany. DMIL will showcase its capabilities in operations and maintenance, consulting, project management, and advisory services during this significant event.
This platform will enable DMIL to connect with transit authorities, infrastructure companies, technology providers, operators, and other stakeholders in the mobility sector. Dayal noted that DMIL has submitted five international bids over the past three months, marking a crucial step in its global business expansion.
The company is actively seeking opportunities in West Asia and select European markets while also considering prospects in North America. Additionally, Africa is on their radar, where potential partnerships with local firms and governments could arise.
Sanjay Jamuar, CEO of DMIL, emphasized that InnoTrans 2026 offers a vital opportunity to showcase DMRC and DMIL’s expertise on a global stage. It will facilitate connections with transportation authorities, infrastructure partners, and leaders in the mobility sector worldwide.
He remarked that cities are increasingly looking for integrated, flexible, and future-ready mobility solutions. Jamuar sees this as a chance to bring their engineering expertise and operational experience to international markets. Through DMIL, the aim is to establish meaningful collaborations and contribute to efficient and sustainable urban transport systems by learning from global best practices.
The statement also noted that DMIL focuses on providing operations and maintenance, consulting, project management, and advisory services for metro, rail, and urban transport projects in both India and international markets.
Delhi Metro is recognized as one of the leading metro systems globally, operating over 300 stations across a network exceeding 416 kilometers and serving approximately 6.5 million passengers daily.
