
New Delhi, June 21: International Yoga Day is being celebrated across the country. The Indian Navy and Central Armed Forces marked this occasion with yoga sessions.
The Indian Navy celebrated International Yoga Day with a post on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Calm in mind. Strong in body. Dedicated to service.” They further mentioned, “This year, the Navy has adopted the theme of ‘Yoga for Healthy Aging’, laying a strong foundation for a healthy and mission-ready force.”
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also shared a post on ‘X’, highlighting, “Even in the depths of the ocean, the commitment to yoga prevails. On International Yoga Day, the Indian Navy’s submarine warriors practiced yoga, conveying a remarkable message of discipline, self-strength, and Indian culture.”
Personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) also participated in yoga sessions on this day. The CRPF posted on ‘X’, emphasizing the importance of yoga for a better future!
In their post, the CRPF stated, “CRPF units across the country celebrated International Yoga Day with group yoga sessions. At the SDG Camp in New Delhi, CRPF DG G.P. Singh and senior officials practiced yoga. In line with this year’s theme of ‘Yoga for Healthy Aging’, their dedication inspires us all to stay fit and active at every stage of life.”
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) also commemorated International Yoga Day. They shared on ‘X’, “Strengthening body, mind, and soul at an altitude of 14,000 feet.” They further noted that on this occasion, the ITBP’s 47th Battalion conducted yoga by the shores of Pangong Tso in Leh-Ladakh, reaffirming their commitment to fitness, endurance, and inner strength.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) also engaged in yoga practice for International Yoga Day. They posted on ‘X’ that yoga promotes harmony between mind, body, and nature, serving as a priceless gift from India to humanity. It transcends borders and fosters resilience, inner strength, and overall well-being for a healthier world.
The CISF added, “For us, yoga is an essential part of daily life, enhancing physical fitness, mental strength, and operational readiness. Through regular practice, CISF personnel maintain a sense of discipline, balance, and health, serving the nation with utmost dedication. This International Yoga Day, let us embrace this ancient practice and move together towards a future filled with peace, balance, and health.”
