The Ministry of Defense stated that this contract falls under the category of “Indian-designed, developed, and manufactured,” indicating that domestically developed technology will be utilized for this project. The radar systems are designed and developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s Electronics and Radar Development Establishment.
Bharat Electronics Limited will handle the manufacturing of these systems. This significant project encompasses not only the radars but also associated equipment and essential infrastructure.
