New Delhi, December 6 (Daily Kiran) – India and the United States will start a three-day round of talks from December 10 on the first phase of a proposed bilateral trade agreement. This negotiation is being seen as a crucial step in finalizing the trade deal between the two countries.

Official sources informed on Saturday that the talks between India and the United States will begin on December 10 and continue for three days. Both sides consider these discussions important as they aim to finalize the initial part of the agreement.

The US delegation will be led by Deputy United States Trade Representative (USTR) Rick Switzer. The proposed talks will run from December 10 to December 12. However, this is not a formal round of negotiations.

It is noteworthy that following the US decision in August to impose a 50 percent tariff on Indian products, this is the second visit by a US delegation to India for trade talks. Earlier, a US team had come to India on September 16 for similar discussions.
