
New Delhi, March 26: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for the Indian senior men’s team’s international home matches for the 2026-27 season. Teams from Sri Lanka, West Indies, Australia, and Zimbabwe will tour India, with a total of 22 international matches set to take place across 17 cities.
Between September and October, the West Indies will play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) in India. These matches are scheduled from September 27 to October 3, hosted by Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh. Following this, both teams will compete in a five-match T20 series from October 6 to October 17.
West Indies Tour of India (2026):
– September 27: First ODI (Thiruvananthapuram)
– September 30: Second ODI (Guwahati)
– October 3: Third ODI (New Chandigarh)
– October 6: First T20 (Lucknow)
– October 9: Second T20 (Ranchi)
– October 11: Third T20 (Indore)
– October 14: Fourth T20 (Hyderabad)
– October 17: Fifth T20 (Bengaluru)
In December, the Sri Lankan team will visit India for three ODIs and an equal number of T20 matches. Bengaluru will host an international match for the first time in nearly two years. The second ODI will take place at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, which last hosted an international match in October 2024, a Test between India and New Zealand.

Kicking off the new year, Zimbabwe will tour India from January 3 to January 9, with three ODIs scheduled in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

From January to March, the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy will be contested between India and Australia. The first match will be held in Nagpur, followed by the second match in Chennai. Guwahati’s Barsapara Cricket Stadium will host a Test match for the first time during this series, with the third match taking place there. The fourth match will be in Ranchi, and the final match will be hosted in Ahmedabad.
