New Delhi, June 28: A significant milestone in the strengthening strategic ties between India and Seychelles will be witnessed on June 29, Monday. Seychelles is set to celebrate its 50th Independence Day with a national ceremony.
During this historic event, a marching contingent from the Indian Army will participate. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the ceremony. It is noteworthy that the relationship between India and Seychelles has long been founded on friendship, cooperation, and trust. Over time, collaboration in defense, maritime security, development, trade, and cultural exchanges has consistently strengthened between the two nations.
The special ceremony will feature a 32-member marching contingent from the Indian Army, comprising soldiers from the Assam Regiment. Captain Aryan H. Deolkar will lead the contingent. Additionally, a marching band from the Indian Navy will also be part of this significant event.
