Importance of the Developed Bharat Ji Ram Ji Scheme Over MGNREGA Highlighted by BJP Spokesperson

Ranchi, March 19: BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Dev emphasized the significance of transforming the MGNREGA law into the Developed Bharat Ji Ram Ji Scheme. He stated that there are several key reasons behind this change, with prioritizing the interests of workers being the foremost.

In an interview with a news agency on Thursday, he mentioned that the new scheme now provides 125 days of employment for workers instead of the previous 100 days under MGNREGA. Additionally, the central government has made provisions for employment for up to 185 days for workers. An online monitoring system for this entire process has also been established and will soon be implemented.

Pratul Shah Dev asserted that the earlier MGNREGA scheme was not as focused, but the Developed Bharat Ji Ram Ji Scheme has been made significantly more targeted. Its main objective is to expand the interests of workers, and the government is fully committed to this direction.

He further explained that while the primary aim of the MGNREGA scheme was limited to specific tasks, the Developed Bharat Ji Ram Ji Scheme includes provisions to strengthen basic work in rural areas. A comprehensive framework has already been established, which will soon be put into action. The government is not in a position to accept any negligence in this regard.

The spokesperson expressed confidence that the Developed Bharat Ji Ram Ji Scheme will play a crucial role in strengthening the rural economy. He believes that positive results will emerge in the coming days, which will also accelerate the development of the state.

Additionally, Pratul Shah Dev mentioned the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that it is perplexing that this topic has arisen, as it pertains to the central government. However, a resolution regarding this matter is being presented by the Jharkhand government, which seems incomprehensible.

He also made significant claims regarding the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections. He stated that Mamata Banerjee has realized she will face defeat in the upcoming elections. He is confident that a comprehensive survey conducted in the state indicates her impending loss. This has led her to deny tickets to several party leaders.

Following the denial of tickets to TMC leaders, discontent against Mamata Banerjee is reportedly growing. They claim they cannot accept this situation under any circumstances. Internal party conflicts have now spilled onto the streets. In such a scenario, it would be better for Mamata Banerjee to address the rising dissent within her party before confronting the BJP. This indicates the current political climate in West Bengal.
