Hamirpur, March 21: A festive atmosphere surrounds Hamirpur as Chief Minister Sukhu’s birthday approaches. District Congress President Suman Bharti announced in a press conference that a grand event will take place on March 26 at Gandhi Chowk.
The celebration will include Kanya Poojan and a large community feast, where prasadam will be distributed to all attendees. Additionally, a significant job fair will be organized at the Savings Building, providing employment opportunities for hundreds of youth. Suman Bharti stated that multinational companies will conduct interviews on-site and offer immediate job placements to qualified candidates.
The main event will be held at Gandhi Chowk, with smaller programs taking place at various locations throughout the district. Preparations are in full swing to ensure the event is both successful and memorable.
During the press conference, Suman Bharti also commented on the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the family of the sitting MLA in the Pung Khadd mining case, which rejected their bail petition. She emphasized that this ruling clarifies the family’s culpability and will lead to further action in the case.
The Congress leader praised Chief Minister Sukhu’s leadership and expressed that such positive initiatives on his birthday will benefit the youth and society. The District Congress Committee has urged all workers and the public to participate actively in the event.
