Importance of Educating the Youth on the Horrors of Partition: Madan Rathore

Jaipur, August 14: Amidst the political activity in Rajasthan, BJP state president Madan Rathore, former mayor Soumya Gurjar, and MLA Bal Mukund Acharya addressed various issues. Rathore emphasized the need to educate the younger generation about the consequences of the Partition. Meanwhile, Soumya Gurjar expressed confidence in the BJP’s victory in the upcoming local body elections. In a separate incident, MLA Bal Mukund assured a fair investigation into the death of a 12th-grade student after consuming pastries in Jhotwara, while also launching a sharp attack on Congress regarding Rahul Gandhi‘s recent comments.

In the context of Partition Remembrance Day, BJP state president Madan Rathore stated that it is crucial for today’s youth to understand the repercussions of the country’s division. Those who witnessed the events firsthand have different experiences, but it is essential for the younger generation to learn history to prevent similar situations in the future. Educating the youth about the events related to the Partition will strengthen the spirit of ‘Nation First’ among citizens, helping to avert such circumstances in the future.

Rathore stressed the need to prioritize the ‘Nation First’ sentiment. He urged society to remain vigilant about national unity and integrity, learning from the tragedies of the Partition.

Regarding the local body elections, former mayor Soumya Gurjar expressed confidence in the BJP’s policies and past performance, believing they would lead to victory. She stated that the party’s principles are based on the ethos of ‘welfare for all’ and aims to reach even the most marginalized individuals. The previous board in the Greater Jaipur Municipal Corporation was also BJP-led, which bolsters her confidence for the upcoming elections. She further asserted that the BJP would win not just in Jaipur but across urban bodies in Rajasthan.

MLA Bal Mukund described the death of a 12th-grade student in Jhotwara after eating pastries as a tragic incident. He expressed condolences to the deceased student’s family and assured a thorough investigation to determine the actual cause of death.

Bal Mukund stated that as soon as the administration was informed of the incident, relevant agencies began their investigation. The exact cause of the student’s death will be clarified only after the medical examination is completed. The school reported that several students consumed the pastries, but others did not fall ill. Therefore, the actual cause of death will be confirmed based on medical examinations and other evidence. The police and medical teams are currently investigating, reviewing footage from the incident site, and gathering available evidence. If negligence on the part of the canteen, school administration, or any other individual is found, action will be taken against those responsible.

Bal Mukund noted that the deceased student was promising and performed well academically. The family’s grief over the untimely death is irreplaceable, but it is crucial to ascertain the cause of death through the investigation. He assured the family that actions would be taken against those found guilty based on the investigation’s findings.

In response to Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments, MLA Bal Mukund launched a fierce attack on the Congress leader. He accused Congress of consistently targeting the RSS and its affiliated organizations. Bal Mukund remarked that statements from Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and other Congress leaders have been directed at the Sangh and its affiliates. He claimed that Congress has targeted organizations working for the nation’s interest, leading to political losses for the party.

He emphasized that there is no need to focus too much on what Rahul Gandhi says, as the public is now paying attention to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s work and leadership. The MLA asserted that under Modi’s leadership, India has strengthened its identity on the global stage, enhancing national pride through the Prime Minister’s presence at international forums.

Bal Mukund accused Rahul Gandhi of making objectionable statements about the nation, the Prime Minister, saints, and Sanatan traditions. He sarcastically suggested that Rahul Gandhi should focus on the issues facing his party and the public. He added that if Congress leadership had paid attention to Rahul Gandhi’s statements and political direction, the party’s situation might have been better.
