Huawei Pura 90 Series and Oppo Find X9 Ultra Set for April Launch

Mumbai, March 15: March is only halfway through, yet several major smartphone launches are on the horizon, including the Vivo X300 Ultra and the OnePlus 15T. April promises to be equally exciting, as a tipster has revealed several smartphones expected to debut next month.

According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra, Oppo Find X9s Pro, and the highly anticipated Huawei Pura 90 series are all slated for an April release.

The lineup also features the Huawei Pura X2, a wide-form foldable device, along with two performance-oriented phones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip.

While Huawei has confirmed the launch of the Huawei Enjoy 90 series this month, its premium offerings seem to be reserved for April.

What Can You Expect?

We have some insights regarding Oppo’s upcoming devices. The Find X9s Pro is expected to be a compact phone equipped with the Dimensity 9500, while the X9 Ultra is anticipated to be an imaging-focused flagship powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

For Huawei, the standard Pura 90 is rumored to feature a 6.58-inch display, while the higher-end models may boast a larger 6.87-inch flat display for a more premium aesthetic.

The base model is expected to utilize the Kirin 9020 chip, while the Pro version may upgrade to the Kirin 9030. At the top of the lineup, the rumored Ultra model could run an even more powerful Kirin 9030 Pro.

Huawei’s foldable offerings may also see enhancements with the Pura X2. This device is expected to feature a wider foldable design compared to its predecessor, potentially including a 7.69-inch WQHD+ inner display and a 5.5-inch outer screen.

Moreover, Huawei is likely to continue its focus on camera technology. The foldable is rumored to incorporate a Red Maple quad-camera system, featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, and a multispectral Red Maple primary color sensor.
