Nashik, June 12: The much-publicized TCS corporate jihad and conversion case in Nashik will see a hearing for the bail plea of accused Nida Khan and two others on June 19. During the hearing on Thursday, the court listened to the arguments presented by the defendants’ lawyers and scheduled the next hearing for June 19 to decide on the bail application.
The prosecution will also present its case on June 19. Following this, the court may reach a decision regarding the bail plea. It is noteworthy that the hearing for the bail application has been postponed twice before due to various reasons.
In this high-profile case, police have alleged acts of cruelty and religious sentiment violations linked to the TCS company. Investigating agencies are conducting a thorough investigation, and legal proceedings are ongoing.
Previously, the court had placed Nida Khan in judicial custody for 14 days. After the remand period ended, the police presented her in court. Nida Khan was arrested on May 7 from a residential apartment in the Kaisar Colony of the Naregaon area in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The controversy began when a female employee working at the Nashik TCS office filed a complaint against her colleague, Danish Sheikh. The complainant alleged that Danish Sheikh had engaged in a physical relationship with her under the pretense of marriage, despite being already married.
As the investigation progressed, several other women accused senior employees at the Nashik branch of harassment. They claimed to have faced mental and sexual harassment from February 2022 to March 2026, but their complaints were reportedly ignored by the human resources department.
