Hyderabad, August 11: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced job openings at its prominent research laboratory, the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) in Hyderabad. They are seeking qualified candidates for various project positions through an official notification.
The CSIR-NGRI has listed a total of nine vacancies. These include one position for Project Assistant-II (PA-II), four for Project Associate-I (PA-I), one for Project Associate-I/II (PA-I/II), and three for Project Associate-II (PA-II).
The online application process has already begun, with the deadline set for August 13. Interested candidates can complete their registration through the application form available on the official CSIR-NGRI website, as specified in the notification for each position.
Candidates attending the interview must possess a B.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, or an M.Sc./M.Tech/MS in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Marine Geophysics, Exploration Geophysics Technology, Geosciences, Earth Sciences, or related fields is required. Candidates should also have two years of relevant experience and meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 35 years, calculated as of the interview date. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a walk-in interview and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹35,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.
The walk-in interviews are scheduled for August 17, 19, and 21 at the CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, located near NGRI Metro Station, Uppal Road, Hyderabad, Telangana-500007. Candidates are advised to report to the venue between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Those attending the interview should bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents.
