New Delhi, August 6: Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh made a notable appearance at the Delhi Premier League (DPL) match on Thursday. He was honored by Rohan Jetli, the president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).
During the ceremony, Jetli welcomed Singh and praised his significant contributions to Indian cricket. The stadium erupted in applause from players, officials, and fans present, celebrating the former cricketer’s legacy.
Known as ‘The Turbanator,’ Harbhajan Singh debuted internationally in 1998. He played 103 Test matches for India, claiming 417 wickets at an average of 32.46. Additionally, he took 269 wickets in 236 One Day Internationals and 25 wickets in 28 T20 internationals.

Meanwhile, Outer Delhi Warriors hold the second position with two wins out of three matches. East Delhi Riders are yet to secure a win this season, having lost all three of their opening games.
In the first match on Thursday, rain led to a reduction to 10 overs per side. Outer Delhi Warriors batted first, scoring 132 runs for 2 wickets in 10 overs. In response, South Delhi Superstars were restricted to 93 runs in 9.4 overs, resulting in a 39-run victory for the Warriors.
