Gujarat Takes Historic Step Towards Natural Farming with Gujcomasols Distribution Initiative

Gandhinagar, April 23: In a significant and visionary move for Gujarat’s agricultural sector, Gujcomasol has launched the distribution and promotion of natural mineral-based fertilizers and agricultural products across the state. This initiative was officially announced during a farmer seminar-conference held at the Gandhinagar Town Hall, attended by numerous farmers, agricultural experts, scientists, and representatives from the cooperative sector from various districts.

The primary goal of this initiative is to encourage farmers to move away from chemical farming and adopt natural, environmentally friendly practices. This shift is expected to not only maintain soil fertility but also provide farmers with better yields and increased profits in the long run.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of lamps, followed by welcoming the guests and providing detailed information about various aspects of this new initiative. The project is being implemented in collaboration with Jordan’s renowned company, Mansir Natural Green (MNG), which specializes in producing fertilizers and agricultural products from natural minerals. These products are internationally certified and are considered safe for soil and crops due to their completely chemical-free composition.

In consideration of farmers’ interests, these products were tested at Anand Agricultural University. Scientific tests revealed that these natural fertilizers effectively improve soil quality and enhance production. Based on positive results, it has been decided to make these products available throughout the state.

Addressing the program, Dilipbhai Sanghani, Chairman of IFFCO and Gujcomasol, emphasized that merely increasing production is not enough; it is essential to promote sustainable farming while protecting the environment. He expressed confidence that Gujarat’s farmers would play a leading role in adopting this initiative.

During the event, Bipinbhai Patel provided practical insights to farmers, explaining that these natural products would enable higher production at lower costs while improving soil health. Padma Shri Ramsharan Sharma, who attended from Lucknow, shared his experiences, highlighting the benefits of natural farming and advising farmers to gradually move away from chemical practices.

Several officials, including K.J. Patel, Managing Director of IFFCO, and Yogesh Kumar, Marketing Director, were also present. They stated that delivering new technologies and quality products to farmers through the cooperative system is their priority.

Farmers attending the seminar showed enthusiasm for this initiative and gained valuable information regarding the use of these products.
