
Khandwa, June 14: The construction of the magnificent Shri Dhuniwale Dadaji Dham in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, has gained significant momentum. This project is being developed as one of the largest religious centers in the country. The selection process for high-quality marble for the temple’s construction has also commenced.
In this regard, a 22-member delegation, including public representatives, members of the temple construction committee, and administrative officials, visited Makrana in Rajasthan. The purpose of this visit was to select the best quality marble for the temple.
Khandwa MP Gyaneshwar Patil provided insights, stating that approximately 15 marble vendors in Makrana were inspected. The delegation conducted a thorough study of the quality, pricing, and other technical aspects of the marble at each vendor’s site.
He mentioned that, in the initial phase, 7 out of the 15 vendors have been shortlisted. From these, 3 final suppliers will be selected. The decision will be made considering not only the price but also the quality and construction requirements.
According to Gyaneshwar Patil, 5 selected vendors have been asked to present temple pillars by July 5. Once these sample pillars are ready, their quality, design, and cost will be evaluated. After this, discussions will take place regarding final rates and other conditions.
He emphasized the aim to finalize rates and other necessary processes with suppliers before Guru Purnima, to expedite the temple construction work.
Dada Darbar is a renowned Hindu pilgrimage site located in the Nimar region of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. This temple is built on the samadhi of Dadaji Dhuniwale. There are millions of devotees of Dadaji both in India and abroad. A total of 27 dhams have been established in India and overseas in the name of Dadaji Dhuniwale, with Khandwa’s Dada Darbar being the most prominent.
