Grand Dussehra Celebration in Noida Features 80-Foot Ravana Effigy

Noida, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : The Dussehra festival, symbolizing the triumph of truth over falsehood, will be celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Noida Stadium in Sector 21A. Organized by the Shri Sanatan Dharma Ramleela Committee, this year’s event will feature the burning of an impressive 80-foot tall effigy of Ravana, along with effigies of Kumbhkaran and Meghnath.

The highlight of the evening will occur at 8 PM when MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma will ignite the Ravana effigy using a remote control. The stadium will be adorned with colorful decorations and lights, creating a festive atmosphere complemented by a spectacular fireworks display.

Preparations for the Dussehra festival at Noida Stadium have been finalized. The committee has ensured that various arrangements are in place to accommodate the expected large crowd. Necessary permissions from the authorities have been obtained, and responsibilities have been assigned to committee members, volunteers, and security personnel to maintain order.

To enhance safety, CCTV cameras have been installed throughout the venue. The organizing committee is prioritizing security to prevent any disruptions during the effigy burning and fireworks. The aim is to provide a peaceful environment for families to enjoy the festivities together.

In addition to the effigy burning, the Dussehra celebration will also feature a fair with rides for children and food stalls for families. Circus performances and firecracker shows will be among the main attractions, ensuring entertainment for attendees of all ages.

As the clock strikes eight, the burning of the three giant effigies will mark the pinnacle of the Dussehra celebration.
