Despite the drop, gold continues to trade near the ₹1 lakh mark in the Indian bullion market.

Currently, 10 grams of 24-carat gold is trading above ₹99,200, while 22-carat gold is priced above ₹90,900. The India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) has also released updated rates across different gold purities.
