Gold Price Today: Gold and silver prices witnessed significant increases on Friday, November 28, with both precious metals showing sharp upward movement in the domestic market.
According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), gold prices have surged by Rs 609, reaching Rs 1,26,666 per 10 grams. Yesterday, 10 grams of gold were priced at Rs 1,26,057. Silver has also become costlier by Rs 1,619, reaching Rs 1,64,286 per kilogram, compared to the previous rate of Rs 1,62,667.
The price of 24-carat gold, including GST, now stands at Rs 1,30,465 per 10 grams. Silver, including GST, is priced at Rs 1,69,214 per kilogram. Despite today’s increase, gold remains cheaper by Rs 4,208 from its all-time high of Rs 1,30,874 recorded on October 17.
Gold prices across different carats show varied increases:
23-carat gold has risen by Rs 607 to Rs 1,26,159 per 10 grams, with its GST-inclusive price at Rs 1,29,943, excluding making charges.
22-carat gold has increased by Rs 558, reaching Rs 1,16,026 per 10 grams. Including GST, the price stands at Rs 1,19,506, excluding making charges.
18-carat gold has gained Rs 458, reaching Rs 95,000 per 10 grams, while its GST-inclusive price is Rs 97,850 per 10 grams.
14-carat gold opened at Rs 74,100, and including GST, it is priced at Rs 76,323 per 10 grams.
