Lucknow, September 19 (Daily Kiran) : A roadways bus in Lucknow was engulfed in flames after crashing into a divider near the Bhuhar Bridge. The incident occurred in the Para police jurisdiction on September 19, 2026. Fortunately, both the driver and conductor managed to escape without injuries.
According to the fire department, the bus was traveling from Para to Dubagga when it lost control and struck the left-side divider as it approached the bridge. The fire broke out approximately two to three minutes after the collision, rapidly spreading throughout the vehicle.
Witnesses reported that the driver and conductor were the only individuals on board at the time of the accident. They promptly exited the bus and alerted the fire service, which dispatched two fire trucks to the scene. Firefighters acted swiftly to extinguish the flames completely.
After the fire was put out, police conducted a thorough inspection of the bus and confirmed that no passengers or other items were inside. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries or property damage related to the incident. However, the bus was severely damaged by the fire. Authorities are currently investigating the accident and taking necessary actions. The situation at the scene is stable, and traffic is flowing normally.
