FIR Filed Against SP Leader Rajan Rizvi for Harassment of Female Bank Employee in Mathura

Mathura, September 16 (Daily Kiran) : A serious case has emerged in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, where a female bank employee has accused Rajan Rizvi, the state secretary of the Samajwadi Party’s minority cell, of harassment and stalking. The local police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against him under various sections of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, among other serious charges.

According to the victim, Rizvi frequently visited the bank as a customer and kept a close watch on her. He allegedly obtained her personal mobile number without her consent and began sending inappropriate and unwanted messages. When she refused to engage with him, he threatened her, claiming he could access her call detail records.

After blocking his number, the victim reported that Rizvi was seen loitering around her residential area at approximately 9:30 PM. It is alleged that he gathered information about her husband, who is a regional forest officer, as well as details about their home, vehicle, domestic help, cook, and driver. Surveillance footage captured images of the victim’s car parked outside the bank, which further raised her concerns. She suspects that Rizvi may be using a private security agency to spy on her and her family, possibly aiming to file false complaints against her husband.

Ashna Chaudhary, speaking on behalf of the victim, confirmed that a complaint had been lodged at the Kotwali police station. The complaint details ongoing harassment through stalking and inappropriate messaging, as well as attempts to intimidate the victim near her home.

In response to these allegations, local leaders from the Rashtriya Lok Dal have condemned the incident, labeling it as obscene behavior. They noted that there have been previous complaints against Rizvi and pledged to meet with authorities to demand action against him.
